T.I. debuts new video and announces album release

Despite being booked into the slammer this week, rapper T.I. debuted a video for new single ‘Get Back Up’ featuring Chris Brown yesterday (November 3) and has announced plans to drop his album ‘No Mercy’ next month.

The new single is appropriately about the rapper’s arrest and prison sentence; in the lyrics he claims remorse for having “disappointed everybody”.

“Try not to hold that against me though,” he continues. “My road to redemption has no GPS.”

The new album ‘No Mercy’ will hit stores in the US on December 7 and, along with Chris Brown, features guest appearances from Kanye West, Eminem, The Dream and Christina Aguilera.

About the new record, the incarcerated star said: "This album represents some of my best work inspired by my most recent best and worst life experiences. They say adversity brings forth inspiration so y'all can imagine how inspired I've been during the recording process for this album."

The album was to be originally named ‘King Uncaged’, but was changed after T.I. was sent back to prison.
