Dizzee Rascal and Cheryl Cole never met for duet

Dizzee Rascal has revealed that the recordings for his new duet with ‘X Factor’ judge Cheryl Cole were done completely separately with the pair not once meeting in the studio.

The song, called ‘Everybody, Everybody’, will be included on Cole’s latest album ‘Messy Little Raindrops’ and included Dizzee at Cole’s request.

However, Dizzee claims that he hasn’t even heard the track and hasn’t the foggiest what it might end up sounding like.

The ‘Bonkers’ rapper told The Independent: "It was like it never happened. I never saw her. They sent me three tracks and I basically picked the one I thought would be best."

But the rapper has confidence in the system: "It saves money on planes: imagine going halfway across the world in first class then deciding that you don't like the person. If they just send you a track, you can get it done in your own studio, in your comfort zone. It should be good. It will be good. It's Cheryl Cole, innit."

The star's new album was released on November 1 and has already produced number 1 single 'Promise This'.
