Hillary Clinton praises Adele: 'I have huge admiration for her'

Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton has revealed that she's a big fan of Adele and the superstar's emotional songs.

During a radio interview on Sirius XM, Clinton explained that she admires the 'Hello' songstress and loves her voice: "You would have a lot of women singers like Adele, Sheryl Crow... I'm currently into Adele that is my go-to voice. I have such a huge admiration for her skills, her abilities and her personality."

Adele made headlines earlier this year when another Presidential candidate, namely Donald Trump, ignored her requests to stop using her music at his political rallies. A representative for Adele told press that Trump did not have permission to use her songs: "Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning."

The vocal sensation, meanwhile, has been nominated for three prizes at this year's Echo Awards in Germany. She received nominations in the Album of the Year, Best Female Artist (International), and Hit of the Year, which is a best song honour for her smash hit single, 'Hello', categories.
