Pulp to reform in 2011

Britpop legends Pulp have announced that they plan to reform for a series of concerts in the summer of 2011.

According to the band’s website, the reunion will include the band’s original line-up of Jarvis Cocker, Nick Banks, Candida Doyle, Steve Mackey, Russell Senior and Mark Webber.

The first gigs that the band has booked include headline slots at festivals Primavera Sound on May 27 in Barcelona and the Wireless Festival on July 3 in London.

The statement on the website said the group would be playing songs “from all periods of their career,” adding: “Yes, that means they’ll be playing your favourites.”

Tickets for the Wireless Festival go on sale on November 12 at 9am.
