Adam Lambert's new single collaborator: 'He is fire'

Laleh, a Swedish singer-songwriter and former actress, features on Adam Lambert's forthcoming new single 'Welcome To The Show'.

Details of this exciting new offering were unveiled yesterday (March 14) and shortly after the announcement was made, Laleh took to her official Twitter page to share her excitement at having worked with Lambert: "Yes @adamlambert new single #WelcomeToTheShow is featuring me. Adam is fire, see u on Idol."

In a statement, Lambert told his fans that he hopes this new song will 'give them strength': “I wanted to surprise my fans with a new, uplifting anthem for the spring. I asked Max Martin for help and he paired me up with Ali Payami who worked with me on 'Ghost Town' and Swedish star Laleh who is also featured on the track. I feel this song will give people strength to be exactly who they are.”

Laleh has previously worked with a number of stars, including British superstar Ellie Goulding. The pair co-wrote Goulding's 'I Do What I Love' and when asked by a fan how she came to create that track, Goulding tweeted: "I love that one so much, wrote it with @laleh x #delirium."
