U.S rap superstar Lil Wayne has only been out of prison for six days but he is already back in the studio making music.

The ‘Lollipop’ hit maker was released from jail on November 4 and wasted no time in getting back on top of his game.

Since finishing his sentence for possessing a loaded gun he has since appeared on stage in Las Vegas with Drake, threw a homecoming party in Miami and now the president of Young Money, Mack Maine, has revealed that Weezy is back to work.

Maine took to his official Twitter account yesterday (November 9) and wrote:

“It's official Wayne laid his 1st verse!!!!! Torture!!!! YMCMB”
