Indie bands join forces for charity compilation

An environmental charity from the U.S has enlisted the help of some of the world’s best bands to feature on a special album.

Global Green USA have created a compilation record called ‘Gasoline Rainbows’ to help raise funds for everything affected by the BP oil spill and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the cause.

Bands and artists that are featured on the tracklist include City and Colour, Damien Rice, Vampire Weekend and LCD Soundsystem. The album will be available for digital download from November 30 and will be released on Roark Records.
