Kid Rock announces 'Born Free' tourKid Rock has announced the dates for his latest tour, called the 'Born Free' tour. The tour will kick off the tour with a party show in his native Detroit, Michigan. The concert takes place two days before the star’s 40th birthday and in his honour the Ford Field football stadium in Detroit will be renamed the 40 Field for the day of January 15, 2011. Along with his Twisted Brown Trucker Band, Kid Rock will be accompanied by support act Jamey Johnson. There will also be surprise guests. The first leg of the tour wraps up on March 12, 2011 in Memphis, Tennessee. Rock’s new album, ‘Born Free’ just dropped yesterday (November 16) and features guest appearances from Zac Brown, Martina McBride, T.I., Sheryl Crow and others.
