Glee’s leading lady Lea Michele is to be honoured by U.S music giant Billboard at its annual Women In Music event.

Billboard.com will be hosting the ceremony on December 2 in New York and will be awarding Michele, 24, with the mysterious Triple Threat award. Billboard’s Editorial Director, Bill Werde, explains the concept of the title as:

“To recognize the incredible contribution that Lea Michele has made to music, as a star on Glee,"

“Phenomena aren't always backed by true talent, but in this case, it's clear that Lea has what it takes as as singer, a dancer and an actor to be a star for years to come.”
