Stars praise Bruce Springsteen for cancelling North Carolina concert

Music icon Bruce Springsteen recently axed a performance scheduled to take place in Greensboro, North Carolina after learning about the state's newly-imposed law, the Bathroom Bill.

This law forces transgender people to use gender-specific restrooms and has ruffled many feathers since it was announced, including Springsteen's. He cancelled the concert in protest and celebrities have been supporting his decision ever since.

'We Can't Stop' songstress Miley Cyrus shared a snapshot of the aforementioned headline and accompanied it with heart emojis and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres tweeted: "I (heart) Bruce @Springsteen."

Paloma Faith wrote: "Fantastic that @springsteen has made a stand for LGBT rights!" Singer Charli Puth added: "Hey @springsteen you make me proud to be a new jerseyan." Springsteen's statement about cancelling the gig can be seen in full below.
