Kevin Simm is crowned the winner of the UK edition of The Voice

Singer Kevin Simm, formerly of Liberty X fame, was crowned the winner of The Voice in the UK last night.

35-year-old Simm competed against three other finalists Cody Frost, Jolan, and Lydia Lucy, and ended up winning the title. Speaking about his success, the vocalist admitted that he was overwhelmed and very grateful:

"I cannot believe it. I am so gratfeul to everyone who has voted for me. I just honestly, I couldn't have dreamed this, especially at my old age. I'm so grateful to everyone who has made this show such an amazing experience."

'The Voice' coach Boy George took to Twitter this morning to congratulate Simm, writing: "Well done @Kevsimmx... oh, and 35 is young! You never stop having talent and creativity at any age! Dispel the British myth! Enjoy it all!" Paloma Faith added: "Congratulations to the wonderful @Kevsimmx winner of @BBCTheVoiceUK 2016 #winner #truetalent."
