Carly Rae Jepsen and Charli XCX will top the bill at this year's LA Pride.

The event is expanding its music line-up in 2016, with more acts than ever set to perform.

Jepsen and Charli XCX will be joined on the bill by the likes of Gallant, Le1f, Big Freedia and Hailee Steinfeld.

This year's LA Pride will take place between June 10-12 in West Hollywood.

Nonprofit group Christopher Street West organises the event and its president Chris Classen hailed the music line-up.

He said: “This year we doubled down on talent and are excited to have such a strong lineup performing at the Music Festival.

"Our festival rivals other major music events around the country and offers a lineup you can’t find anywhere else among LGBTQ events, and at a fraction of the cost of other music festival tickets."
