Rita Ora addresses 'Becky with the good hair' rumours

Songstress Rita Ora has shot down reports suggesting she is the woman at the centre of the latest cheating allegations surrounding Jay Z.

People assumed that the 'Hot Right Now' star may be the "Becky with the good hair" mistress referenced on Beyoncé's new album 'Lemonade', but Ora has now hit out at the claims in a series of posts on Twitter.

Ora wrote: "I never usually address tabloid gossip but let me be clear, these rumours are false. I have nothing but the upmost respect for Beyoncé. Let’s continue enjoying Lemonade."

Fashion designer Rachel Roy was initially targeted as the other woman after she posted a picture on Instagram and captioned it "good hair don't care". However, she has now denied the allegations and slammed Beyoncé's fan base for attacking her online. Roy issued a statement to People.com that read:

"I want to put the speculation and rumors to rest. My Instagram post was meant to be fun and lighthearted, it was misunderstood as something other than that. There is no validity to the idea that the song references me personally. There is no truth to the rumors."

"Consequently, online haters have targeted me and my daughters in a hurtful and scary manner, including physical threats. As a mother - and I know many mothers would agree - I feel that bullying in any form is harmful and unacceptable. I would hope that the media sees the real issue here - the issue of cyber bullying - and how it should not be tolerated by anyone."
