Prince has topped a Billboard chart record previously set by Michael Jackson.

The late musician has seen seven of his tracks enter the Digital Songs top ten.

'Purple Rain' and 'When Doves Cry' reached No.1 and No.2 respectively.

'Little Red Corvette', 'Let's Go Crazy', '1999', 'Kiss' and 'Raspberry Beret' also charted in the top ten.

This is one more song than Michael Jackson achieved in 2009 after his death.

Prince was found dead in late April in his Paisley Park complex in Minnesota.

Results of his postmortem are not yet known.
