Demi Lovato: 'My voice is better now than it was a year ago'

Superstar Demi Lovato has revealed that she finally feels able to show the world what she can do vocally.

Speaking to Latina magazine, the songstress explained that when she works on new music she isn't thinking about scoring one big hit single because that mindset doesn't tend to produce authentic material:

"I don’t care about radio hits. When you try hard for that, it doesn’t happen. It’s songs like 'Stone Cold' that I don’t get tired of singing on tour. I get tired of singing 'Give Your Heart a Break' and even 'Confident' already. I have yet to reach my peak, and also, my voice is better now than it was a year ago. Now I can show people what I can do."

Lovato, meanwhile, recently filmed a Carpool Karaoke segment alongside her long-time friend and tour buddy Nick Jonas. The pair will hit the road together on their joint Future Now tour in June and the first concert is set to take place in Florida.
