Drake secures UK albums and singles chart double

Drake has topped both the UK albums and singles chart.

His new record 'Views' today (May 6) hit No.1, giving him his first chart-topping album in the country.

It sold 78,000 in its first week to become 2016's second-fastest selling record in the UK.

Drake's song 'One Dance' has also hit No.1 after selling 141,000 album units.

It enjoyed 8.95 million streams in the in the UK over the last seven days to set a new record.

At No.2 meanwhile on the albums chart is Beyoncé's 'Lemonade', with Prince's 'The Very Best Of' following at No.3.

This week's top five is rounded off by Billy Ocean's 'Here You Are - The Best Of' and Travis' new entry 'Everthing At Once'.

In the singles run-down, Rihanna and Calvin Harris' new effort 'This Is What You Came For' debuts at No.2.

Sia's 'Cheap Thrills' is No.3, Mike Posner's 'I Took A Pill In Ibiza' is No.4 and Fifth Harmony's 'Work From Home' drops one place to No.5.
