Rita Ora confirms she's quit X Factor after one series

Rita Ora has quit the X Factor - meaning that Simon Cowell is the only judge remaining.

The singer confirmed today (May 10) that she was leaving the show after just one series.

She wrote on Twitter: "I had a ball on @TheXFactor last year and will miss the team."

The star added to the show's boss Simon Cowell: "I] can't wait to work with you again... I'll be round for dinner soon. Thank you for the experience".

Ora follows Cheryl and Nick Grimshaw in leaving the judging panel.

Hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack have also left, with old presenter Dermot O'Leary returning.

Reports suggest that Ora will now concentrate on other aspects of her career.

She joined the X Factor after being lured away from a stint as a coach on BBC rival The Voice.
