Adam Lambert: 'Music reminds us of how we're the same'

Adam Lambert and Queen are currently on their summer tour of Europe and they opened up about the power of music in a new interview with RMF FM

The 'Ghost Town' sensation explained that the best thing about bringing a live show to different countries is that music can act as "the unifier" and can bring people of different backgrounds, races, genders and beliefs together:

"Well, I think music is the unifier. It reminds us of how we're the same when we're living in a world that likes to reminds us of how we're different."

Lambert went onto add that we're at a very unique point in history as things are really beginning to shift and a dialogue has been opened that will allow for progress and change:

"I'm Jewish and I'm gay... both in the past and in the present there's a lot of work that's being done to try to create equal rights and tolerance. It's an interesting time to be an artist and have a public platform."
