Louis Tomlinson beats Niall in battle of 1D at Soccer Aid

Louis Tomlinson got one over on his bandmate Niall Horan at this year's Soccer Aid event.

Both singers took part in the charity match at Manchester's Old Trafford on Sunday (June 5).

However, Tomlinson's England team beat the Rest of the World side 3-2.

Horan co-managed the world side and made an appearance on the pitch too.

Mark Wright opened the scoring for England before former Man Utd man Dimitar Berbatov scored twice to put the Rest of the World side 2-1 up.

Pro player Jermain Defoe scored twice, however, to see England win 3-2.

Horan and Tomlinson enjoyed a hug in the middle of the pitch at full-time - as 'Pillowtalk' by ex-bandmate Zayn Malik played over the PA.

Tomlinson tweeted after the game: "How this song playing has made its way on to the victory playlist I have no idea!!"
