Counterfeit reveal new single details and possible release schedule

'Enough' rockers Counterfeit have revealed that their new single should be available at the end of the summer.

During a new interview with Radio 17 in Poland (transcript translated below), the band's frontman Jamie Campbell Bower opened up about their forthcoming studio album and discussed their schedule:

"Yes, we went to a new studio and recorded a new single there. At the end of the day, we have achieved what we wanted. We always talked about this team that has the punk rock edge, but it also needs the values of modern production, which it's still looking for."

"Many things in the last year were recorded in a different way. We did it at different times, while the new single we did together at the same time; it was Jimmy on drums, my brother, guitar, everyone played instruments all in one day. We felt that this is really good, we love it. We are very excited."

Bower went onto add that the single should be released before the beginning of September: "We just got the first mix next single which will be released in a few months. It sounds wonderful and is not like most punk rock songs, more radio friendly. It's still Counterfeit, but it sounds harder alarmingly. We found what we were looking for, it will be a big impression did. The single will be released before September 1."

The band, meanwhile, will perform live at 2000trees festival, which is scheduled to take place between July 7 - July 9 in the Cotswold Hills, and tickets for the event are on sale now.
