David Gilmour has announced a fifth show at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The Pink Floyd star will play the venue on September 23.

Tickets for the new date go on sale from 10am UK time on June 30.

The show comes in addition to four previously announced gigs in the same venue.

Gilmour will perform at the Royal Albert Hall on September 25, 28, 29 and 30.

The guitarist meanwhile hit No.1 in the UK last year with his fourth solo album 'Rattle That Lock'.
