Suge Knight has launched legal action against Chris Brown for his role in a 2014 nightclub shooting.

The ex-record label boss suffered seven gunshot wounds at a party hosted by Brown at Hollywood club 1 Oak.

He is now suing the singer and the club for failing to provide the neccessary security and for allowing a gunman to enter the premises.

Knight also said the incident left him fearful for his life, which is partly why he allegedly ran over two armed men in 2015 - killing one.

His lawyer J. Tooson wrote: "Mr Knight was still extremely frail from his gunshot injuries less than five months earlier."

The music executive is currently on trial for murder relating to the hit and run incident.
