Mel B reveals her fitness regime
Singer and presenter Mel B, of the Spice Girls fame, has revealed that she prioritises working out because it helps her to stay as fit as possible.
Speaking to Closer magazine about how she stays in such great shape, the star admitted that she has a fitness routine that keeps her motivated and interested:
"Generally I try to do at least 30 minutes of cardio a day mixed with weights. I'm also a big fan of sit-ups, so I try to do as many of those as I can."
She also opened up about living in Hollywood and explained that getting out in the fresh air around the Hills area is great: "Living in Los Angeles, I'm lucky that I can get out and go on long hikes and run around the Hollywood Hills, which definitely keeps me in shape. I like to mix up my workouts between the gym and the outdoors."
Earlier this week, Mel B told America's Kelly Ripa that the Spice Girls might celebrate their 20th anniversary, but it won't be until 2017:
"It's our 20th anniversary this year - this would be the perfect year, but places get booked out, so what we're hopefully doing is planning on doing something to celebrate next year. It's something that we want to do and it'd be nice to celebrate and give thanks to all the fans. I'm not getting any younger. Let's hurry up and get this done."
