Slipknot are back in the studio writing a new album

Slipknot has started recording a new album, which will be the band’s first since the tragic death of their bassist Paul Gray.

In an interview with Billboard.com, drummer Joey Jordison revealed:

“It's already in motion...It's a little emotional, of course, but I think it's going to be really, really cool and I think it's gonna be a really, really great record because everyone's really involved in the process."

In addition to this, Slipknot’s front man Corey Taylor has recorded a Christmas song called ‘X-M@$’, which will be released on December 12 and all proceeds will be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
