Singer Nick Jonas has revealed that his friendship with Demi Lovato was immediate. 

Chatting to Philly.com, singer Nick Jonas explained that he bonded with Demi Lovato pretty quickly upon meeting because they’re very close in age and are similar in their personalities and likes: 

"Demi and I are only a month apart in age, and we were doing schoolwork together on set while filming. I think we connected pretty quickly. And then, over the years, not only was it a great friendship, but lots of differences in our personality actually helped us just be that much closer."

Jonas went onto add that Lovato’s boldness inspired him to be more “real” on his latest album, ‘Last Year Was Complicated’: “For me, it is about [getting] more vulnerable in my music with this new record and encouraging me to really open up about some things that happened in my life.”
