Rocker Hayley Williams, of Paramore fame, recently launched her goodDYEyoung hair colour line and has opened up about the inspiration behind it in a new interview. 

Speaking to FOX News magazine about her love of boldy-coloured tresses, she admitted that it was a fun way to express herself as a youngster that carried over into her adult life: "I wasn’t allowed to get tattoos, but I was allowed to dye my hair. So there’s that!"

When asked to describe her biggest hair disaster, Williams said: "I dyed my hair black — that was a mistake and it took a long time to take out of my hair."

She also talked about her worst hair cut, adding: "I called it the LEGO haircut. I had a few inches cut off it in order to keep my hair looking healthy. This haircut has been immortalized since it’s what I had for my driver’s license picture."
