Michael Kiwanuka set to bag first UK No.1 albumMichael Kiwanuka's 'Love & Hate' is No.1 on the UK albums chart midweek update. The singer-songwriter will score his first chart-topping record if the album stays put come Friday (July 22). It is a total of 1,300 copies ahead of its nearest rival, Adele's 2015 effort '25'. Christine & The Queens' 'Chaleur Humaine' rises five places to No.3, while Biffy Clyro's 'Ellipsis' drops from the top spot to No.4. Rounding off Monday's (July 18) midweek update is 'A Head Full of Dream's by Coldplay. Good Charlotte are the second highest new entry at No.8 with 'Youth Authority'. Jeff Beck's 'Loud Hailer' is in at No.14, while James Bay's 'Chaos and the Calm' rises five spots to No.17. The UK's two best selling albums of all time are back in the top 40 after a promotion to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the chart.
