Pixies have confirmed a number of UK tour dates.

The US group will return to Britain for six shows in the winter.

The opening two concerts will take at London's O2 Academy Brixton on November 28 and 29.

Pixies will then travel to Leeds, Glasgow and Newcastle.

The tour will close at Manchester's O2 Apollo on December 4.

Tickets for the shows, which will come in support of the band's September 30 album 'Head Carrier', will go on sale from 9am UK time on July 22.
