Brad Simpson, of The Vamps fame, recently appeared on an episode of reality dating programme 'First Dates' and he held a Twitter Q&A earlier this morning about why he decided to go on the show. 

During the impromptu fan-led interview, the heartthrob was quite vocal about advice given to him by his mother. He confessed that he always seeks her approval on the girls he's considering romancing: "Yeah I would definitely (ask for her approval). I always value my mother's opinion. #AskBradFirstDates #FirstDates."

Simpson was then asked how to calm unsteady nerves before a date and explained that his mother had a great suggestion for that, too: "Deep breaths, mother's advice and it's not the end of the world either way. B x" 

He also confessed that he would definitely date a fan: "Sure if the person I meet is nice and if we get along& it's a happy coincidence."

Earlier this month, Simpson opened up about the concept of soulmates and admitted that it's something he definitely believes in: "We believe in The Vamps... I think we believe in soulmates and we believe people should be together, and I think you know when you know. You'll have the feeling, you'll get butterflies and you'll get all tingly when you think about that person."
