Demi Lovato on Disney past: 'I joke that being there for so long gave me PTSD'

'Heart Attack' sensation Demi Lovato has joked that working for The Disney Channel for such a long time and growing up in that industry has given her post traumatic stress disorder.

During an interview with Billboard, she admitted that when she feels really stressed, it triggers memories of feeling like that when she was much younger:

"We joked around that it was Disney High, except we all were shooting shows and really overworking. I joke that I sometimes have PTSD after leaving the channel, because if my schedule starts to get too busy, I rebel and I get bitchy."

She went onto add that working so much at a young age was always something she wanted: "I always wanted to be the next Shirley Temple, to be the youngest person to ever win a Grammy and an Oscar. It didn't turn out that way."
