Nathan Sykes on Ariana Grande: 'We don't talk everyday, but it's not awkward'

Singer and musician Nathan Sykes has opened up about the continued interest in his former relationship with Ariana Grande.

Chatting to Zach Sang & the Gang about the bizarre infatuation people seem to have with his personal life, the 'Give It Up' heartthrob explained that it's sad that he keeps having to rehash things that are so far back in the past:

"I still get asked about that. It was like three years ago. I'm a completely different person and I'm sure she is as well. We were kids - we were teenagers, and that's what's funny. People still care. You shouldn't. I don't! She definitely doesn't."

He also explained that it's quite clear that there's no bad blood between himself and Ariana Grande because they collaborated on 'Over and Over Again', which they wouldn't have done had there been tension there:

"Well, we did 'Over and Over Again' together. Obviously, we're not in contact everyday, but doing that song showed everyone that it's not the most awkward thing on the planet. People do work together who have been there before... It showed real maturity from both of us to be like, 'no, music is more important than tabloid gossip.' Then everybody was like, 'oh, they're getting back together.' I was like, 'no, no. We're working together and doing a song together, and it's a beautiful song so let's concentrate on that.'"
