Ricky Wilson can see himself on 'The X Factor': 'I'd do judges' houses'

Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson has revealed that when he announced his departure from The Voice he just wanted to "bow out gracefully".

Chatting to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, the star explained that despite having left the show he can imagine himself joining The X Factor: "I'd do judges' houses with Nicole... And if Simon would have Kaiser Chiefs on The X Factor performing, I'd love that."

As previously reported, Wilson told the NME that his band's forthcoming new album, entitled 'Stay Together', is something they put a lot into as the industry changes so quickly that it's hard to keep up:

"The music world has changed. Ten years ago, we’d have been against co-writing with other musicians. It was: ‘We’re a band, it’s about what the five of us can create behind closed doors.’ But that’s a daft way to approach it. Why, for the sake of ego, would you not make a song as good as it can possibly be?”
