Fergie on new album: 'It's not full on rock, but there will be a bit of that on there'

Hitmaker Fergie has opened up about her new music and explained that it's going to have more rock influences than her previous offerings

She told the NME that she's hoping this new album will be made up from a "mixture" of different styles and genres: "Hmm... I've got a few pieces I'm playing with, but we'll see how much makes it onto the album."

"It's definitely gonna be a mixture - the album is a cornucopia of different sounds. It's not a full rock album, but there'll definitely be a little bit of that on there. I love doing those songs on stage, though, they're always super fun. It's definitely part of who I organically am, so I like bringing it out on stage."

Back at the beginning of July, she told Billboard magazine: "I can tell you I have lot of new music. I'm super excited to give pieces, a little bit at a time. It's definitely authentically me because of the fact that it's a lot of different things. It wouldn't be me if I released all songs like 'M.I.L.F. $' ... there's a plethora of different sounds."
