Michael Jackson, 1D and My Chemical Romance celebrate new UK milestones

The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) has announced its awards for this week and Michael Jackson, One Direction and My Chemical Romance are all enjoying new achievements in the UK.  

The late King of Pop's album 'Number Ones' has now been certified 8x Platinum, One Direction's single 'Drag Me Down' has gone Platinum (600,000 copies), and My Chemical Romance's greatest hits album 'May Death Never Stop You' is now Silver (60,000 copies). 

Little Mix can also celebrate their single 'Hair', which features Sean Paul', achieving Gold certification this afternoon (400,000 units). 'Sweet Lovin'' by Sigala ft. Bryn Christopher reached Platinum status.
