Biffy Clyro on inspiration for "Howl" video: 'Any bonkers idea we had, we went for it'

Biffy Clyro recently unveiled their striking music video for "Howl" and they have shared details of how they came up with its treatment.

The band's frontman Simon Neil opened up about the project and confessed that the visuals were heavily inspired by filmmakers David Lynch and Stanley Kubrick:

"I watched a lot David Lynch at the start of this year and i'm a big Kubrick fan. The song Howl is quite a playful song and I felt we could do something quite freaky with the video. I've always wanted to dress up as a geisha and it's probably the only opportunity i'll ever get to do so."

He added: "Any bonkers idea we had, we went for it, and we're really glad how it turned out."
