Frank Ocean heading for first UK No.1 album with 'Blonde'

Frank Ocean is on course to land his first UK No.1 album.

The elusive musician's highly-anticipated second effort 'Blonde' is now exclusively available on Apple Music.

In the Official Charts Company's midweek update published today (August 22), the record is 4,000 units ahead at No.1.

Dolly Parton's new effort 'Pure & Simple' follows at No.2, with David Brent's 'Life On The Road' soundtrack new in at No.3.

ELO's 'All Over The World' compilation drops one place to No.4, while Bob Marley's 'Legend' stays put at No.5.

Metallers Sabaton debut at No.9 with 'The Last Stand' and Rifles' 'Big Life' is in at No.12.

Lisa Hannigan meanwhile enters the chart at No.18 with 'At Swim'.

Benjamin Francis Leftwich’s latest effort 'After The Rain' is a new entry at No.22.
