Liam Gallagher has reached out to brother Noel to reunite Oasis 'for the fans'

Liam Gallagher says he would be keen to reunite Oasis - if fans want them to.

The group split in 2009 after an acrimonious fall-out between brothers Liam and Noel.

Speaking to Q magazine, Liam Gallagher said he is ready to return to the indie band.

He said the brothers should patch up their differences for the sake of Oasis fans.

The singer said: "I believe Oasis will sail again and it'll be glorious. If it's really about the fans, Noel, let's do it - because they want it. One year. Tour for a year.

"We'd smash it. My bags are still packed from my last tour, so I'm ready."
