"Trap Queen" hitmaker Fetty Wap was scheduled to perform at this weekend's Reading and Leeds Festival in the UK, but has pulled out at the last minute due to illness. 

He issued a statement via Twitter this afternoon and explained that a severe ear infection is preventing him from flying:

"I regret to say that I won't be able to make this weekend's festival shows. I've been fighting a horrible ear infection, and my doctor ordered me to come in for more testing before I flew again. We waited until the last possible minute because I wanted to be there for you, but she informed me that by flying I could decrease my hearing, or even worse, rupture my ear drum."

He concluded: "I'm under strict orders not to fly for 7-10 days. I'm sorry, but I'll be back as soon as possible to turn up with y'all. Thank you for your understanding, love and support."
