Barbra Streisand bags record-breaking 11th US No.1 album

Barbra Streisand has topped the US albums chart once again.

The singer's new effort 'Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway' has given the veteran her 11th chart-topper in the country.

This means that Streisand is now joint-third with Bruce Springsteen on the list of acts with the most No.1 albums in the US.

The Beatles top the list with 19 albums, while rapper Jay Z is second with 13.

'Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway' had been expected to reach No.2 on the Billboard chart behind Florida Georgia Line's 'Dig Your Roots'.

The record features duets with the likes of Anne Hathaway, Alec Baldwin and Hugh Jackman.
