Aqua are set to tour next year in honour of the 20th anniversary of their hit song 'Barbie Girl'.

The Sun reports that the group will perform live in their native Denmark.

The quartet released 'Barbie Girl' in May 1997 and the pop song hit No.1 in charts across the world.

Aqua are set to reunite with their original line-up of Lene Nystrøm, René Dif, Søren Rasted and Claus Norreen.

The band have released three albums to date, with 1997's 'Aquarium' and 2000's 'Aquarius' selling well.

They released 'Megalomania' in 2011 after reuniting.
