Lil Wayne post-prison single details

More has been revealed about what will be Lil Wayne’s first music release since his own release from prison.

According to Mack Maine – rapper and boss of Young Money – the next single is called ‘6’7’ and will be the first release off of Lil Wayne’s next studio album ‘Tha Carter IV’.

Speaking to MTV, Maine said:  "We definitely dropping it before the end of the year. We ready to go now; we getting it mixed."

About the upcoming single, the rapper agreed with DJ Scoob Doo who previously described it as "A 2010 Version Of A Milli...But On [Steroids]." Maine added, "Just make sure you all remember two words: Cory Gunz. Incredible.

“[Wayne]'s talking bananas. Some of the rhymes were actually written in jail. First time you all are gonna hear Wayne write in a minute," Maine explained. "He actually sat down and wrote this time. It's amazing."
