Demi Lovato hits out at Taylor Swift's squad for promoting 'false body image'

Demi Lovato has criticised Taylor Swift's 'squad' for seemingly promoting a "false" body image.

The '1989' star is regularly seen hanging out with her circle of famous friends, such as Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss.

However, Lovato told Yahoo that the group isn't giving off a realistic body image example to youngsters and adults alike.

She said: "This will probably get in trouble, but I don't see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body.

"It's kind of this false image of what people should look like."

Lovato also criticised Swift's 'Bad Blood' song and video, which is apparently written about Katy Perry.

She said: "I think that having a song and a video about tearing Katy Perry down, that's not women's empowerment."
