Bruno Mars' comeback single '24K Magic' has reached the top of the UK trending chart.

The singer released the track last week as the first cut from his upcoming new album.

On Monday (October 10) the song entered at No.7 on the main UK singles chart.

This has meant that it has topped the trending chart, which ranks week-on-week growth.

Mars has not yet released any information about his next album, which will be his third.

His last record - 'Unorthodox Jukebox' - was unleashed in 2012.
