Little Mix are counting down the days until their next album era launches.

The girl group will unleash their new single 'Shout Out To My Ex' on Sunday (October 16) after they perform it on the X Factor.

It will be the first track to be taken from their upcoming fourth studio record.

Little Mix took to Twitter on Tuesday (October 11) to express their excitement and ask fans what they would like to hear on the new album.

They said: "5 days and counting until the #LM4 era official begins!! What vibe do you want from the girls' new music?"

The options given were - sassy and fierce; full of party starters; all about the vocals; tear jerking and emotional.

At the time of writing, 'sassy and fierce' was the most popular.
