Niall Horan says there will '100 per cent' be more One Direction shows

Niall Horan has vowed to take One Direction back on the road in the future.

The group went on hiatus at the end of 2015 to pursue solo careers and other projects.

Horan recently released his debut single 'This Town', but he told US radio hosts Kannon and Sybil that One Direction will definitely reunite.

When asked if he stands by his previous promises, the Irishman said: "Of course!

"We’d be stupid not to go back to it. It changed our lives, there’s no doubt about it."

He added: "I don’t know when that will be; whether it’s next year or the year after…But we’ll definitely be pursuing that again. 100 per cent."
