Mick Jagger on Trump's use of song during victory speech

Donald Trump has just been named America's 45th President, after beating opponent Hillary Clinton in last night's election and after making his victory speech he walked off stage to the song "You Can't Always Get What You Want" by the Rolling Stones

He has come under fire during his campaign for presidency for unauthorised use of songs by the likes of Queen and George Harrison's estate, and now the Stones' frontman Mick Jagger is the latest person to speak out against his actions.

Mick Jagger took to his Twitter page earlier today and shared the following message: "Just was watching the news... maybe they'll ask me to sing 'You Can't Always Get What You Want' at the inauguration, ha!"

During his victory speech, Trump said that he will be a "president for all Americans” and promised to "unify our great country,” adding "working together, we will begin the urgent task of rebuilding our nation and renewing the American dream [...] The forgotten men and women will be forgotten no longer.”
