Taylor Swift tops Forbes magazine's Highest-Earning Celebrities Under 30 list

"Style" songstress Taylor Swift has topped Forbes magazine's Highest-Earning Celebrities Under 30 list with earnings of $170 million (£136,481,794).

She placed at No.1 thanks to the success of her latest album, 1989, and subsequent tour and she also recently topped Forbes' Highest Paid Women in Music list, beating the likes of Adele and Beyoncé to the punch. 

Following her at No.2 are UK-based boyband One Direction, who are currently enjoying an extended break, and Argentine soccer player Lionel Messi finished at No.3, making him the highest paid athlete under 30. Canadian heartthrob Justin Bieber is at No.6 and "Starboy" sensation The Weeknd finished in seventh place.
