Tove Lo on how she lives her life: "It's probably not a long-term solution"

Singer-songwriter Tove Lo has revealed that her latest album Lady Wood was inspired by her emotional reaction to a "very brutal break-up".

She explained to the NME magazine that she lives her life "chasing rushes" and is very spontaneous like that, and while it makes for great writing material it's not necessarily a "long-term" way to exist:

'The relationship was amazing and unreal but then there was a very brutal break-up. But I write about every single piece of it and I appreciate all of it. The whole album is about chasing rushes. I love to live like that because it gives me a lot of amazing moments and experiences but I do realise it's probably not a long-term solution to life."
