Superstar Prince as issued some advice to teeny-bopper Justin Bieber, saying that the boy should learn an instrument if he wants to keep afloat in the music business.

The ‘Purple Rain’ star also recommended that Bieber get a “good teacher”.

The 16-year-old pop sensation has cited Prince as one of his musical idols and is now at such a peak of popularity that he is getting tips from his heroes.

Speaking on US talk show ‘The View’, Prince said: The key to longevity is to learn every aspect of music that you can, and I hope that he does pick up an instrument and gets a good teacher."
