The 1975, Emeli Sandé and Craig David nominated for BBC Music award

Acts such as The 1975 and Emeli Sandé have been nominated for the Live Lounge Performance of the Year prize at this year's BBC Music Awards.

The 1975 are up for the gong for their cover of One Direction's 'What Makes You Beautiful', while Sandé is nominated for her song 'Hurts'.

Craig David is shortlisted for his cover of Justin Bieber's 'Love Yourself', while Christine and the Queens are up for their version of Bieber's 'Sorry'. Usher's 'Climax' is also nominated.

This year's BBC Music Awards are due to take place at the ExCeL in London on December 12. Today (November 28) John Legend was added to the line-up, which already featured the likes of Robbie Williams and Sandé.
